We’ve all heard of Food Porn, well now we have Jacket porn. The saying goes a picture paints a thousand words, so feast your eyes on the Mountain Research Anorak Jacket.
The first time your eyes catch this pullover jacket you can’t help to be drawn in. This piece is stunning on many different levels.
Let’s start with the colour, Olive Green, a classic jacket tone and suits this anorak down to the ground.
Next, and the big stand out for me, is the pockets. Two imposing pockets on the front of the jacket, two different sizes, they are overbearing, odd looking, and absolutely brilliant. I love them!
Be honest you looked at those pockets and starting working out what you could fit in them.
I did. My list included
Ok getting a bit silly there, but you get my point, these pockets are super big and super useful. You could probably do away with that man bag or backpack you’ve been carting about.
The anorak is made from a water repellent nylon so no need to worry about getting wet with this on. Other clever features include a breathable netted lining, elasticated drawstring hem and hood, and Velcro fastening adjustable sleeve cuffs. This anorak jacket is perfect for a multitude of climates, but I’d be loath to wear this outside in the rain. This could be as close to a piece of art as you can wear.
One final pointer. Did you notice the mauve hem? Stunning isn’t it? The first time I checked out this anorak I tried to take everything in, and completely missed how lovely the hem is, a lovely mauve colour that contrasts against the olive perfectly. Bravo!
